Salary Circa £40-45,000 + bonus, pension and car/travel allowance

Fluid Fusion is searching for a Prestige Business Development Manager for an established prestigious European wine business. Armed with a dynamic and celebrated portfolio of wines, the successful candidate will develop and manage further success in the high-end London On Trade, working across revered hotels, restaurants and bars.

This role reports to the Head of Field Sales and is responsible for selling, distributing, and promoting brands within the London prestige region. Building company profitability through direct sales of the portfolio to new and existing customers, this role will have full responsibility for sales and profitable growth.

The Prestige Business Development Manager will employ a consultative approach to partner key customers for mutual benefit and provide a broad range of training and education to raise awareness of the extensive wine portfolio, especially estate wines. In addition, the role will require close collaboration across all internal functions including Brand Marketing, Customer Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain.

Skills and experience:

• Strategic Planning to maximise opportunities across the London prestige territory
• Strong wine knowledge is essential, WSET qualified to a minimum of level 2
• Networking effectively with current and prospective customers
• Focused on providing a high standard of Customer Service across the customer base
• Capable of negotiating customer pricing to achieve desired margins
• Capable of delivering basic wine training and tasting
• Established On-Trade sales experience.
• Highly organised and numerate
• Advanced communication skills (written and verbal)
• Competent user of Microsoft Office applications
