Brand Manager- Premium Drinks

Salary Circa £50-60K including car allowance + bonus, pension, car allowance and other benefits

Are you a dynamic and creative progressive brand marketer with strong exposure to brand marketing management & NPD, working on leading drinks or FMCG brands? Are you driven to join a fast-paced and dynamic drinks business?

Our client is a premium drinks business on a meteoric growth trajectory with considerable investment and a fantastic range of brands. We are now searching for an established Brand Manager to manage consistent and provocative positioning across the portfolio, own and develop the NPD agenda and manage actionable consumer, customer and category insight to leverage continued success and growth.

Key responsibilities:

  • You’ll extract meaningful insight from consumer and customer trends to support the development of exceptional brand, PR campaigns and packaging. Working closely with all marketing functions to ensure impactful and consistent brand messaging across all touchpoints to drive brand saliency and educate consumers and shoppers.
  • NPD: Development of the product portfolio is a critical and vibrant feature of the market. In this role, you’ll own the NPD programme from providing the wider team with insight-led category analysis and the case for new product/skus to exploiting opportunities in the competitive landscape.
  • You will collaborate extensively with the Operations teams in Production, Supply and Demand planning and lead and mentor the in-house Graphic Designer to develop consistently winning branding to ensure the execution of best-in-class launch and trade execution campaigns.
  • You’ll have worked collaboratively with colleagues to support the development of brand profiles and successfully managed and optimised relationships with agency partners. You’ll be spend savvy, well-networked and passionate about bringing brands to life through engaging consumer experiences.
  • An independent and creative thinker with great attention to detail, you’ll need a curious mindset, an interest in drinks culture, and an ambition to blaze a trail with market-leading execution.

Your skills will include:

  • A data and insight-led marketing approach, monitoring market trends, researching consumer target groups and reviewing and assessing competitor activities.
  • Strong NPD exposure working with mainstream brands and delivering a relevant and innovative brand pipeline.
  • Translating brand identity to create a compelling consumer proposition across all trade channels.
  • Strong exposure to dynamic mainstream drinks or FMCG brands
  • Ability to create an annual programme of overarching brand campaigns to a fully costed budget, providing guidance on how this should be executed through all marketing channels.
  • Developing measurement and reporting processes for brand activations, advertising and spend, reviewing and learning from performance and assessing ROI to optimise future activities.
  • Manage brand and PR agency relationships.

Candidates must be based and eligible to work in the UK. This is a hybrid role but will require relatively regular work in West Yorkshire.
