Salary £50-60,000 + car, bonus, pension, healthcare and other benefits
The London Controller role is crucial to continued growth in London and development of the Winning in London Team. Working with a superb portfolio of established and new premium spirits brands, you will drive growth, brand awareness and perception through education within London accounts. With your finger on the pulse, you will be up to date with trends and influencers in London and its key accounts, always one step ahead of what is happening. You will have a great understanding of the London market, including Trend and Scene, and will have existing strong customer relationships as well as an extensive network of industry contacts.
Directly managing a London team of 5, you will coach and mentor them to ensure they achieve all KPI’s and targets set, as well continue to deliver growth within the London team. You will work closely with the London Marketing Manager to oversee all London marketing projects and deliver irreverent brand activations.
1. You will be responsible for the London prestige/trend and scene account base, working with the KAM & Trend and Scene team to ensure we drive growth for the brand within this arena. You will manage the relationship with a small specific number of prestige multiple retail groups. 2. Actively seek out relevant new business opportunities, always looking to grow and develop business in an ever-changing marketplace. Flexible in approach but able to see the wider implications for the team.
3. Build and develop excellent internal relationships on a cross-functional basis, understanding we are “all on the same team” communicating effectively and consistently across the organisation.
4. Deliver the day to day management of Customer Development and Account Executives in the London team, to ensure individual and team KPI’s are realised.
5. Manage the training and development of team members in line with national direction and their individual IDP plans. Ensuring that each team member has a completed KPI form that is reviewed at Mid and End of Year and that each CDE has a minimum of one field visit per month, where KPI’s are reviewed and sales training/coaching is delivered.

Strong exposure of working within the Spirits industry achieving clear growth & success
Previous P+L management exposure, knowledge of forecasting and budgeting
Demonstrable exposure of working as part of a wider team and ability to influence across functions.
Demonstrable experience of developing and leading teams to hit KPI’s.
