The Company

Our client is the proud owner of a leading premium spirit’s brand, this business has grown from strength to strength both in the UK and globally to become the true connoisseur’s choice within their category. Synonymous with mixologists, winner of multiple quality and brand awards, the company continues to grow and as a result require an established marketing professional to further drive success in the UK and key international markets.

The Role

Reporting into the Global Brand Manager (based in London) to ensure the brand continues to be a world-leading brand around the globe and helping the company achieve its Volume targets and Awareness drivers in the coming years. This role will encompass working with the local market Distributors, the production team, key operational suppliers, and the wider Sales & Marketing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Global Brand Manager across trade, customer and brand activity.
  • Support the Supply Chain Manager with key Global projects
  • Liaising between key production suppliers (Wet & Dry Goods) on marketing and packaging materials
  • Supporting Global Brand Manager with management of external agencies for development of POS, NPD and packaging
  • Managing VAP Development & Procurement with partner markets
  • Capturing key meeting minutes and updating Global Status tracker for Monthly reports for senior stakeholders from biweekly operations meeting
  • Monitoring and evaluating brand performance to recommend and execute appropriate ways to increase brand equity
  • Processing Product Orders for partner markets from time to time
  • Work with Global Marketing to create best in class On & Off Trade POS to drive awareness, profile, and rate of sale in key accounts.
  • Maintain Head Office coordination and management
  • This role is an approximate split of 80% Trade marketing and 20% operational management

 

Key skills and experience

  • Great Trade Marketing, Commercial & Operational Experience
  • Ideally, you will have good knowledge of the drinks industry or FMCG
  • Passion for self-development
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with a collaborative team and independently to set timings and tasks
  • Acting as a custodian for the brand in terms of pricing, positioning, communication, and visibility
  • Experience liaising and managing external agencies and managing campaigns and budgets
  • Experience operating logistical systems, multiple data resources
  • Experience managing trackers and status documents
  • Experience creating print, digital assets and creating branded environments with brand messaging and identity
  • Comfortable working to set KPIs and reporting structures to the wider team
  • Educated to degree level
