The client is a leader in the premium drinks arena supplying exceptional brands to both the off-trade and on-trade in the UK. This category leader is renowned for its tremendous development opportunities and superb working environment. The portfolio of brands is superb and offers exciting potential and diversity together with real progression possibilities. In order to facilitate further growth we require a Senior National Account Manager to drive the commercial success and strategic direction of a top 3 grocery account.
Candidates will demonstrate strong exposure to leading premium drinks/FMCG brands and will ideally be a SNAM level candidate now, managing accounts in the multiple grocery sector, ideally top4. You will currently negotiate directly with buying teams, control the P+L, influence category management and provide a holistic understanding of account management.
Your personal skills will include gravitas, tenacity, energy and entrepreneurialism together with a broad commercial understanding of FMCG practices. Candidates will also demonstrate dynamism, good leadership skills and a high level of gravitas. Direct working with category management and joint business planning are also advantageous.

- Background exposure to working with FMCG brands, ideally with blue chip training.
- A dynamic and capable approach with scope for future progression.
- Strong exposure to grocery account management including P+L management and direct buyer negotiation.
- Demonstrable evidence of good gravitas, creativity and commercial planning skills.
- Strong passion for exceptional results and premium brands
