Our client partner is one of Europe’s most creative and successful beer & cider businesses. With a rich heritage and tremendous record of growth and consumer adulation this company continues to deliver exceptional results in several European countries. The UK drinks sector is a leading market for this business and as a result of continued growth we require a Field Sales Controller to develop and define the on-trade strategy as well as leading and developing a team of superb sales managers.
Candidates should demonstrate very strong exposure to leading FMCG/drinks brands and will ideally be a FSM, NAM or SNAM currently, candidates who are currently working in the on-trade sector may be most suited. You will currently manage a team of sales professionals or negotiate directly with buying teams, control the P+L and overall provide a strong understanding of account management and sales development.
Your personal skills will include tenacity, energy and entrepreneurialism together with a broad commercial understanding of FMCG practices. Educated to degree level, candidates will also demonstrate good leadership skills and a high level of gravitas for this position. Candidates will have high level of drive for success and a true ‘spark’ to achieve exceptional results.

Important Criteria points:
- Background exposure to working with leading FMCG brands.
- A dynamic and capable approach with scope for rapid future progression.
- Extensive exposure to sales, account management in either branded Drinks, Food or Premium Brands.
- Strong knowledge of the on-trade sector and people management
- Demonstrable evidence of strong negotiation, commercial and planning skills.
