Our client is a leader in premium wines and spirits, with an enviable portfolio of category leading brands this business continues to grow at a rapid pace across International markets. The brands of this company are revered the world over for their exquisite quality and creative marketing activities. Due to internal progression, we have opportunities for Area Directors to drive commercial development and growth for several markets including Russia and Eastern Europe. Candidates will demonstrate either strong classic marketing skills (at SBM or MM level) or significant exposure to selling premium products across International markets. In addition a high level of gravitas and tenacity is required to drive brand strategy and stakeholder buy-in forward. Candidates will also demonstrate a good knowledge of global markets and an ability to work both at the strategic level and local market level. These roles offer a tremendous opportunity for classic marketers to sharpen their commercial skills and gain genuine first hand experience of culturally diverse markets. These roles are hands on and require high levels on energy, passion, drive and organisation skills to maximise opportunities for both the company and it’s brands. Exposure and knowledge of the alcohol sectors would be useful but is not a pre-requisite of these opportunities. Applicants are welcome from FMCG and wider markets. Knowledge of languages is essential for some roles particularly Spanish. Please note these roles are based in London and require approximately 25% International travel, the Asian markets may require more travel.
